Role Play Open Post

A new game has come and gone (yay!), and though it hasn't answered nearly enough questions (boo!), that's what RP is for, right (yay...?)? I've always sucked at open post stuff, but I'm wanting to give it another go, since I love this ray of sunshine so, so very much, more than I can ever express. And given the way the canon is going, there's a lot of possibilities to explore with him, his past, and even possibly his future.

I'm really, desperately wanting to do some exploring of what he remembers versus what he doesn't, the possibility of recovering forgotten memories (especially now that he has Chirithy around), bonding with the other Keybearers and coming to be treated as an equal by them where before he was constantly treated as the tagalong kid, how he develops and displays his own brand of wisdom that he's found through his experiences, his rare losses of temper and anger/annoyance, and the further development of his powers. Meeting people with contrasting viewpoints (or running into his problematic opposite again) is also A-OK, as is stuff in his past dealing with the PTSD he developed after the heartsplitting and how he came to bond with his "family." I also completely and totally want fun escapades with the heartbro squad just for shits and giggles because he hasn't had nearly enough chances to just kick back and be a teenager in his life.

What I'm not really interested in is shipping just for shipping's sake, anything that infantilizes him at his current age, letting the villains (or even his allies) just kick him around for no reason, or something that completely changes his personality. With shipping, I don't object to it at all, but I play him as extremely demisexual so it's not just something he can jump into. It would need build up and require any partners to already be good friends of his, so it's just something that I'd rather let happen naturally than try to force.

I'm potentially interested in AUs depending on what the idea for them is; I already have a few for him, and could absolutely think of more, but I'd want to do a little "worldbuilding" before I really played one. I'm totally up for talking about them though, and if you have any ideas of anything you'd like to do, I'd love to hear them!

Cross-canon character tossing is TOTALLY COOL! If you have someone you want to throw at Ven who is not a KH'er, by all means please do!
